    UX Research and Design

Growing up in Silicon Valley in the early 2000s, I was introduced to technology and user interfaces at a very young age. As I grew up, all the technology around me was evolving rapidly. From surfing the internet in the computer lab to navigating the home screen of my Wii system as a child, I was learning a new piece of technology which seemed like every week.

Upon graduating high school, I developed an interest in human cognition and to understand why we think the way we do, and why we act the way we do. I was able to pursue a degree in Cognitive Science, learn about human cognition, and relate it to my passion for design.

I am looking to further my UX Research skills on how to make the perfect user experience. Coming from someone who has an extensive background in competitive / eSports and casual gaming, I know first hand, what creates a good, and bad user experience. In order to proceed with my future career, I would love to work a company that would enhance my research and design skills.

Looking forward, I hope to learn to better my skillset regarding UX Research and UI/UX Design principles. I plan to further my education by completing my Master's in Human-Computer Interaction, and I am eager to learn what I need to succeed in this industry.
